問題： 如何撰寫期刊投稿 cover letter？

論文或其他文章的 title page，或稱封頁，上面會有文章題目和作者等信息，而 cover letter 是向期刊編輯介紹投稿文章的信或郵件。

大部分的期刊都會要求投稿的論文附上 cover letter，一般稱投稿信。一篇好的投稿信應該要簡介研究發現，還有用一小段落說明為什么你覺得這個研究適合期刊以及期刊的目標讀者。

Dear Dr./Ms./Mr. [編輯姓名],

I would like to request you to consider the attached manuscript entitled [論文題目] for publication in [期刊名稱] as an [文章類型].

While many studies have investigated the [簡短敘述該主題下的既有知識], I have not come across a paper that deals with [你的研究所屬領域/主題]. We conducted [簡短敘述研究方法] and came up with [概述研究結果]. I feel that [你的研究何以重要，未來的發展方向為何].

-----I believe that the findings of this study are relevant to the scope of your journal and will be of interest to its readership. I have provided tables summarizing the findings.
